Panoramic Analysis of Drought-Resistant Genes in Maize Based on Bibliometrics
In order to understand the development trend in the field of maize drought-resistant genes,this article quantitatively analyzed the papers and patent documents published in recent 20 years.The research found that the genetic engineering technology of maize drought resistance has developed rapidly,China and the United States are the main research countries in this field.Among the patent applications of other countries in China,the United States and Germany have the most original applications.Most of the research institutions in China are concentrated in the academy of sciences and agricultural universities,while in developed countries are mainly enterprises.The subject field mainly involves plant science and agronomy,and the patent technology field mainly involves genetic engineering and new plant acquisition methods.It is recommended that China strengthen the dominant position of enterprises in innovation,encourage the industry-university-research cooperation in this field,and strengthen field trials of genetically modified plants to improve the drought resistance without reducing the yield.
