Cargo delivery drones have the potential to optimize and enhance existing logistics distribution methods while reducing operational costs,presenting a significant development opportunity in China.Through an analysis of the market prospects,patent technology trends,and key technical features of cargo delivery drones,this paper reveals the following findings:Firstly,cargo delivery drones have vast market prospects in China,with substantial economic scale.Secondly,cargo delivery drone technology has experienced explosive growth in recent years,with China possessing a competitive advantage in terms of patent quantity.Thirdly,China has relatively mature technology in small-scale civilian logistics drones,and it is recommended that defense industry and research institutes strengthen cooperation and exchanges with e-commerce and logistics companies during the development of large-scale cargo delivery drones.
