SWOT-CLPV Matrix Analysis and Countermeasure for Development of Provincial Geographical Indication Specialty Industry in China——Taking Henan Province as an Example
The development of provincial Geographical Indication specialty industry plays an important role in promoting regional economic development and rural revitalization. By using the SWOT-CLPV matrix analysis model,the inherent advantages and disadvantages,extrinsic opportunities and threats featured by Geographical Indication specialty industry in Henan Province are sorted out for combinatorial research and comprehensive analysis with taking relevant Geographical Indication data and Geographical Indication specialty industry in Henan Province as the analysis object. The research shows that the low participation of Geographical Indication market players,lack of regulation of quality,lower brand added value,insufficient industrial integration,competitive impact of congeneric agricultural products,unsound market regulatory mechanisms are major difficulties for the development of Geographical Indication specialty industry in Henan Province. According to the research results,corresponding countermeasure to improve top-level planning,ensure quality,strengthen brand cultivation,and explore industry integration are proposed.
