Systematic thinking on the preparation of implementation plans for the citywide construction of Sponge City—A case study of Dongguan City
Since 2012,China has taken the sponge construction pilot as an opportunity to build a livable,green,resilient,smart and humanistic city,and after more than ten years of development,sponge city has become an important urban development concept.Under the background of the new"systematic"and"citywide"sponge city construction,this paper takes Dongguan City as an example to build a continuous and complete citywide ecological infrastructure system based on the management and control of important ecological blue-green spaces such as the citywide ecological red line,urban blue line,urban green line,and flood storage and detention area.On this basis,in order to further highlight the demonstration characteristics,the central urban area,Songshan Lake High-tech Zone and Xiegang Town were selected as the key demonstration construction areas(the relevant river basin was included),and the experience and practices of systematically promoting the construction of sponge cities in the whole area were explored and summarized from three different areas:old and new urban aresa and small towns,which is intended to provide references for similar cities to carry out relevant research.
