Analysis of the characteristics of ice conditions in the Ordos Section of the Yellow River from 2013 to 2022
By analyzing the ice conditions in the Ordos section of the Yellow River from 1987 to 2022,it was found that from 2013 to 2022,the Ordos section of the Yellow River exhibited new characteristics and patterns such as delayed ice flow and sealing dates,advanced opening dates,shortened ice flood periods,unstable frozen river sections,thinning of frozen ice layers,reduced increase in trough water storage,decreased peak opening ice,and reduced ice flood disasters.Thermal,dynamic,and river conditions were the main influencing factors for these characteristics.
