Preparation of CoP/Co3O4-containing integrated carbon membrane electrode for high areal specific capacitance
In view of the weakening of the area specific capacitance of the powder porous material due to the addition of additives when preparing the electrode, the PILs membrane containing N and P elements was prepared by using the molecular designability of poly(ionic liquid)s(PILs).Subsequently, the Co element is introduced into PILs membrane by in situ generated Co-MOF,followed by carbonization for the acquirement of CoP/Co3O4-containing integrated carbon membrane. Thanks to the integrated structure of the carbon membrane, the addition of conductive agent and adhesive is avoided, and the load of active substance in unit area is greatly increased. In addition, the introduction of CoP and Co3O4 improves the area specific capacitance of the original carbon membrane, making the area specific capacitance of the carbon membrane electrode reach 29.3 F/cm2 at the current density of 5 mA/cm2,reflecting excellent electrochemical performance. Therefore, the carbon membrane electrode derived from PILs has a very broad application prospect in the electrochemical field.
