Preparation of a stretchable/transparent/adhesive deep eutectic gel and its application in flexible sensors
A type of deep eutectic gel P(AADES/MADES-n)was prepared by in situ photo-polymerization using acrylic acid(AA),malic acid(MA)and choline chloride(ChCl)as raw materials. The structure, transparency, mechanical properties and strain sensing performance of P(AADES/MADES-n)were characterized by Fourier infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),UV-Vis spectroscopy, elongation at break and resistance change rate, respectively. The results show that P(AADES/MADES-50)exhibits the characteristics of high transparency(visible light transmittance is 91%),high tensile property(elongation at break is 1 300%),strong adhesion(adhesion to aluminum is 270 kPa),high ionic conductivity(3.2 × 10-3S/m)and good mechanical recovery.P(AADES/MADES-50)has a sensitive and stable resistance response as a resistive sensor and shows excellent performance for real-time monitoring of human motion by fast, repeated and stable detection of the bending and straightening of different parts of a hand, which has a wide range of application prospects in the field of motion sensor.
