Development and test of upright symmetrical fabric hotplate
In order to further explore the accurate measurement method for fabric thermal resistance,an upright symmetrical hotplate was designed with the idea of minimum thermal inertia, and the analysis of the distribution of non-uniform temperature field in this design and the measurement of average temperature are solved theoretically. In the constant temperature and humidity room,a copper test board suspended in the air with fabric wrapping was controlled by LabVIEW virtual instrument,so that the heat can be directly transmitted through the fabric in both directions.Under the same conditions, the thermal resistances of 12 fabrics were measured by this hot plate tester and the traditional YG606E hot plate,no significant difference was found by paired t-test results, but the repetition accuracy is higher, which proves the feasibility and superiority of vertical symmetric design.
