Quantitative methods and applications for knowledge innovation ability of university science parks:a case study on national university science parks in Shanghai
Academic communities pay little attention to the research on the knowledge innovation ability of university science parks. It is a positive significance job to explore a quantitative model and research method for evaluating it.Based on the GEM model that widely applied to analyze the competitiveness of enterprise clusters,we improved and constructed the GEM model of university science parks. We also tested and quantified it through empirical analysis and quantitative research methods.Meanwhile,as an example,we evaluated the knowledge innovation ability of 14 national university science parks in Shanghai. The evaluation result is relatively consistent with their actual situation, which further helps to verify the reliability of the GEM model of university science parks and the rationality of the quantitative methods.
