The Influence of Nitrogen and Potassium Fertilizer on Vegetable Quality
In response to the worsening of pests and diseases and low yield in tomato production, this experiment studied the plant diameter and yield of tomatoes under different nitrogen and potassium fertilizer application rates, recorded the color of tomato fruits and the occurrence of navel rot,and measured the indicators of VC,soluble sugar, soluble solids, and citric acid of tomato. The results showed that the interactions of nitrogen and potassium were the most significant and positive, and when the nitrogen to potassium ratio was 1∶1.6,the maximum mature diameter of the plant was 45.37 mm,and the highest yield of a plant was 1 339.69 g.No significant differences were shown between treatments in VC,nitrate, soluble sugars, organic acid and sugar acid ratios.
