Clinical Efficacy of Shenling Baizhu Powder Combined with Bifidobacterium Triple Viable Enteric-Coated Capsule in Treatment of Postoperative Recurrence of Colonic Adenomatous Polyps
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Shenling Baizhu Powder combined with bifidobacterium triple viable enteric-coated capsule in the treatment of postoperative recurrence of colonic adenomatous polyps.Methods A total of 86 postoperative patients with colonic adenomatous polyps treated in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with bifidobacterium triple viable enteric-coated capsule after operation,and the observation group was treated with Shenling Baizhu Powder on the basis of the control group.The efficacy,symptom scores of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and recurrence of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.02％,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(76.74％)(P＜0.05).Before operation,there were no significant differences in TCM syndrome scores of abdominal pain,frequency of bowel movements and hematochezia between the two groups(P＞0.05).Six,twelve and eighteen months after operation,TCM syndrome scores of abdominal pain,frequency of bowel movements and hematochezia in both groups were lower than those before opera-tion,which were lower in the observation group than in the control group(P＜0.05).Six months after operation,there were 2 recurrent cases in the observation group and 8 recurrent cases in the control group.Twelve months after operation,there were 6 recurrent cases in the observation group and 14 recurrent ca-ses in the control group.Eighteen months after operation,there were 11 recurrent cases in the observation group and 21 recurrent cases in the control group.The recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group 6,12 and 18 months after operation(P＜0.05).Conclusion Shenling Baizhu Powder combined with bifidobacterium triple viable enteric-coated capsule can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and reduce the recurrence rate of postoperative colonic adenomatous polyps.
