Objective To explore the effect of adalimumab combined with mesalazine on transmural heal-ing in patients with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).Methods Total 68 patients with IBD treated in our hospital from 2020 to 2022 were selected as the study participants and randomly divided into the obser-vation group and the control group, with 34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with me-salazine enteric-coated tablets, while the observation group was treated with adalimumab injection on the basis of the control group, and the course of treatment was 8 weeks. After treatment, the clinical efficacy, transmural healing rate, magnetic resonance index of activity(MaRIA)score and the incidence of compli-cations were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the cure rate of the observa-tion group was significantly increased. The transmural healing rate of the observation group was signifi-cantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The MaRIA score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications of the obser-vation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the incidence of ab-dominal pain and diarrhea was significantly reduced. Conclusion Adalimumab combined with mesalazine in the treatment of IBD can significantly improve the curative effect, improve the effect of transmural heal-ing and reduce the incidence of complications.
