Value of 256-Slice Spiral CT in Preoperative Evaluation of Mesenteric Vascular Anatomy in Laparoscopic Colorectal Cancer Surgery
Objective To investigate the clinical value of 256-slice spiral CT in preoperative evaluation of mesenteric vascular anatomy in laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery. Methods Total 48 patients with colorectal cancer who were treated in our hospital from February 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects. All patients received laparoscopic radical resection of colorectal cancer and underwent 256-slice spiral CT examination to evaluate the mesenteric anatomy before operation. The results of preop-erative CT examination were compared with the surgical results to analyze the accuracy of preoperative CT evaluation. Results The results of preoperative spiral CT evaluation of the anatomical route of the infe-rior mesenteric artery(IMA)and its branches were completely consistent with the surgical results, with the agreement rate of 100%.The surgical results were highly consistent with the preoperative spiral CT examination results of the spatial relationship of the mesentery(Kappa value=0.916,P<0.001).Con-clusion The 256-slice spiral CT examination is used for preoperative evaluation of the mesenteric vascular anatomy in laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery, with high accuracy. It can clearly show the route of IMA and the spatial relationship between the left colonic vein and the inferior mesenteric vein, which has an im-portant role in guiding the clinical practice.
