Clinical Efficacy of Ligation of Intersphincteric Fistula Tract in Treating Trans-Sphincteric Anal Fistula
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of ligation of intersphincteric fistula tract(LIFT)in the treatment of trans-sphincteric anal fistula. Methods From January 2019 to January 2022,total 76 pa-tients with trans-sphincteric anal fistula admitted to our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 38 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional anal fistula incision and thread-ligating therapy, and the observation group was treated with LIFT.The postoperative pain, wound healing time, postoperative anal function and clinical efficacy of both groups were observed. Results The postoperative pain score, anal incontinence score, postoperative com-plications and hospitalization time in the observation group were better than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion LIFT has positive clinical efficacy in the treatment of trans-sphincteric anal fistula, with little surgical trauma, light postoperative pain and quick recovery.LIFT has advantages in protecting anal function and is worthy of clinical promotion.
