Effect of Hospice Care on Patients with End-Stage Rectal Cancer
Objective To investigate the effect of hospice care on patients with end-stage rectal cancer. Methods From January 2022 to January 2023,total 50 patients with end-stage rectal cancer admitted to our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 25 cases in each group. The observation group was given hospice care, and the control group was given routine nursing and analgesia treatment. The nursing effect and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The patient satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The intraoperative blood loss of the observation group was less than that of the control group(P<0.05).The length of hospital stay of the observation group was shor-ter than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of hospice care for patients with end-stage rectal cancer can effectively improve the nursing quality, reduce the incidence of complications,short-en the length of hospital stay, and improve the treatment effect, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
