Effect of Intraoperative Peritoneal Perfusion Chemotherapy with Raltitrexed on Postoperative Complications in Patients with Rectal Cancer
Objective To study the effect of intraoperative peritoneal perfusion chemotherapy with raltit-rexed on postoperative complications in patients with rectal cancer. Methods Total 150 patients with rectal cancer admitted to our hospital from March 2021 to October 2022 were selected as study participants and were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 75 cases in each group. The con-trol group was treated with radical resection and peritoneal perfusion of normal saline, and the observation group was treated with radical resection and intraoperative perfusion of raltitrexed injection. The white blood cell count, platelet count, alanine aminotransferase and creatinine levels before and after operation were compared between the two groups. The first postoperative exhaust time and hospital stay were com-pared between the two groups. At the same time, the patients were followed up for 1 year after discharge, and the recurrence rate of the two groups at 1 year and the occurrence of postoperative complications such as anastomotic leakage, vomiting and fever were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in white blood cell count, platelet count, alanine aminotransferase and creatinine levels before and after operation between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the first exhaust time and hospital stay between the two groups(P>0.05).The recurrence rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no signifi-cant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Con-clusion Intraoperative peritoneal perfusion chemotherapy with raltitrexed for rectal cancer patients does not increase the toxic side effects and adverse reactions of patients, and can effectively reduce the postoper-ative recurrence rate of patients.
