Diagnostic Value of CA50,CA724 and CYFRA211 in Colorectal Cancer
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of carbohydrate antigen 50(CA50),carbohy-drate antigen 724(CA724)and soluble fragment of cytokeratin 19(CYFRA211)in colorectal cancer.Methods Total 72 patients with colorectal cancer admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the colorectal cancer group,and 30 healthy subjects were selected as the control group dur-ing the same period.The expression levels of serum CA50,CA724 and CYFRA211 in both groups were de-tected and compared.The expression levels of serum CA50,CA724 and CYFRA211 in colorectal cancer pa-tients with different clinical stage,differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis were compared.ROC curve was drawn to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of single detection and combined detection of CA50,CA724 and CYFRA211 in colorectal cancer.Results The expression levels and positive rates of CA50,CA724 and CYFRA211 in the colorectal cancer group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.001).The expression levels of CA50,CA724 and CYFRA211 in colorectal cancer patients were as fol-lowing:stage Ⅳ＞stage Ⅲ＞stage Ⅱ＞stage Ⅰ(P＜0.001),low differentiation＞medium differenti-ation＞high differentiation(P＜0.001),and lymph node metastasis＞no lymph node metastasis(P＜0.001).The cutoff value of CA50 in the diagnosis of colorectal cancer was 19.51 IU/mL and the AUC was 0.778.The cutoff value of CA724 in the diagnosis of colorectal cancer was 9.73 IU/mL and the AUC was 0.787.The cut-off value of CYFRA211 in the diagnosis of colorectal cancer were 12.00 ng/mL and the AUC was 0.819.The AUC,sensitivity and specificity of the combined detection were 0.944,87.50％and 93.33％,respectively.The diagnostic efficacy of the combined detection was higher than that of simple CA50,CA724 and CYFRA211(P＜0.001).Conclusion Serum CA50,CA724 and CYFRA211 are highly expressed in patients with colorectal cancer.The combined detection is helpful to improve the accu-racy of early diagnosis of clinical colorectal cancer,and assists in the evaluation of clinical stage,differenti-ation degree and lymph node metastasis.
