Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids in Treatment of Mixed Hemorrhoid Incarceration
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH)in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoidal incarceration. Methods Total 88 patients with mixed hemorrhoidal incarceration admitted to our hospital from September 2020 to September 2021 were random-ly divided into observation group and control group by drawing lots, with 44 cases in each group. The ob-servation group was treated with PPH,while the control group was treated with Milligan-Morgan hemor-rhoidectomy(MMH).The clinical efficacy, operative time, wound healing time and complications were an-alyzed and compared between the two groups. Results The operation time was(14.5±1.1)min in the observation group, which was shorter than(44.5±2.3)min in the control group(P<0.05).Wound healing time was(2.1±1.1)d in the observation group, which was shorter than(8.7±2.3)d in the con-trol group(P<0.05).The amount of blood loss was(12.4±1.1)mL in the observation group, which was less than(44.5±2.3)mL in the control group(P<0.05).The complication rate was 2.2%in the observation group, which was lower than 20.4%in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 97.7%in the observation group, which was higher than 77.2%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of mixed hemorrhoid incarceration with PPH has definite clinical effect, and can reduce the occurrence of complications, which is safe and worthy of clinical promotion and application.
