Clinical Efficacy of Fumigation,Washing and Sitz Bath with Compound Kushen Lotion for Postoperative Mixed Hemorrhoids
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of fumigation,washing and sitz bath with Com-pound Kushen Lotion for postoperative mixed hemorrhoids.Methods Total 44 postoperative patients treated with Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy for mixed hemorrhoids in our hospital from June 2023 to September 2023 were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 22 cases in each group.Patients in the observation group received fumigation,washing and sitz bath with Compound Kush-en Lotion,while patients in the control group received sitz bath with 1∶5 000 potassium permanganate so-lution.The perianal edema,bleeding and pain on the 2nd,6th and 10th day after treatment were observed and compared.Results On the 6th and 10th day after operation,the postoperative pain score of the ob-servation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the amount of blood loss of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).On the 10th day after operation,the perianal edema of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the length of hospital stay and wound healing time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Fumigation,washing and sitz bath with Compound Kushen Lotion can significantly relieve postoperative perianal edema,pain and bleeding of mixed hemor-rhoids,reduce hospital stay and accelerate wound healing.
