Clinical Efficacy of Anal Fistulectomy and Sphincter-Preserving Fistula Ligation in Treatment of Anal Fistula
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of anal fistulectomy and sphincter-preserving fistu-la ligation in the treatment of anal fistula. Methods Total 56 patients with anal fistula admitted to our hospital from June 2020 to June 2022 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 28 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with sphincter-preserving fistula ligation, while the control group was treated with anal fistulectomy. The short-term and long-term efficacy, surgical inde-xes and anal function were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate was 96.43%in the observation group, which was higher than 71.43%in the control group(P<0.05).The complication rate was 7.14%in the observation group, which was lower than 28.57%in the control group(P<0.05).The anal function score was(0.38±0.06)points in the observation group, which was better than(0.81±0.13)points in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Sphincter-preserving fistula ligation is better than traditional anal fistulectomy in the treatment of anal fistula, and can reduce complica-tions and improve anal function, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
