Objective To investigate the evidence-based value and clinical efficacy of combined purgative therapy for stasis obstructing type of emergency and severe anorectal diseases. Methods A total of 285 patients with emergency and severe anorectal diseases were collected from 2010 to 2022,including 112 pa-tients from 2010 to 2015 as the control group,173 patients from 2016 to 2022 as the observation group. The control group was treated with comprehensive treatment, while the observation group was treated with comprehensive treatment combined with purgative therapy. The efficacy, odds ratio(OR),follow-up out-come,evidence-based value and clinical significance of the two groups were analyzed and compared.Re-sults The cure rate was 24.86%in the observation group, which was significantly higher than 16.96%in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 93.64%in the observation group, which was significantly higher than 76.79%in the control group(P<0.05).The OR of the two groups was 9.46.The short-term mortality of the control group was 16.07%,which was significantly higher than 5.20%in the observation group(P<0.05).The one-year long-term follow up for the mortality rate was 1.16%in the observation group, which was significantly lower than 7.14%in the control group(P<0.05).Con-clusion Digital rectal examination has reliable evidence-based value for rectal static obstruction and fecal retention, and combined purgative therapy has a certain preventive and therapeutic effect on the stasis ob-structing type of emergency and severe anorectal diseases, which is worth studying, promotion and applica-tion.
