Objective To observe the clinical effect of supplemented Shaoyao Decoction combined with Loperamide in the treatment of immune-associated colitis.Methods A total of 66 patients with im-mune-associated colitis admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to August 2023 were selected and di-vided into observation group and control group by random number method,with 33 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Loperamide orally,while the observation group was treated with sup-plemented Shaoyao Decoction orally in addition.The clinical efficacy and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores were compared between the two groups.Results On the 5th and 7th day after treatment,the total effective rate was 78.79%and 93.94%respectively in the observation group,which was higher than 54.55%and 75.76%in the control group(P<0.05),and the TCM syndrome scores of anal burning pain,abdominal pain and diarrhea,urgent diarrhea and tenesmus were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The oral medication of supplemented Shaoyao Decoction combined with Loperamide in the treatment of immune-associated colitis can effectively control the condi-tion,prevent progression of the disease,and improve clinical indicators,with accurate efficacy.
