Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing on Pain and Sleep Quality in Postoperative Patients with Peri-anal Abscess
Objective To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)nursing on pain and sleep quality of postoperative patients with perianal abscess.Methods From January 2022 to June 2023,total 78 postoperative patients with perianal abscess in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 39 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group combined with TCM nursing intervention on the basis of the control group.The pain,voiding disorder,constipation and sleep quality scores(PSQI)were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the pain score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).At the first and second weeks after nursing,the scores of voiding disorder and constipation in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total score of PSQI in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of TCM nursing intervention in postoperative patients with perianal abscess can significantly re-duce the degree of pain,improve voiding disorder and constipation,and enhance sleep quality,which is wor-thy of clinical promotion and application.
