Changes of Intestinal Flora and Expressions of NDRG2 and WAVE3 in Patients with Liver Metastasis of Colo-rectal Cancer
Objective To study the changes of intestinal flora and expressions of NDRG2 and WAVE3 in patients with liver metastasis of colorectal cancer(CRLM).Methods Total 78 patients with CRLM who received treatment in our hospital were selected as the observation group, and total 65 healthy subjects were selected as the control group during the same period. The intestinal flora distribution and expressions of NDRG2 and WAVE3 in the two groups were compared, and the relationship between the expressions of NDRG2 and WAVE3 and clinicopathological characteristics of colorectal cancer was analyzed. Results The number of Lactobacillus and bifidobacterium in the observation group was less than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the number of Escherichia coli,Enterococcus faecium and Enterococcus faecalis in the observation group was more than that in the control group(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of WAVE3 in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the posi-tive expression rate of NDRG2 was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The positive expres-sion of NDRG2 was closely correlated with tumor differentiation, lymph node metastasis and Dukes stag-ing(P<0.05),and the positive expression of WAVE3 was closely correlated with lymph node metasta-sis and Dukes staging(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with CRLM have intestinal flora imbalance. The expression of WAVE3 increased in cancer tissues of patients with CRLM,while the expression of NDRG2 decreased. The expressions of WAVE3 and NDRG2 were related to metastasis, differentiation and pathological staging of cancer tissues.
