Effect of Laparoscopic Radical Resection for Colon Cancer
Objective To analyze the effect of laparoscopic radical resection of colon cancer in patients with colon cancer. Methods Total 82 patients with colon cancer admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were randomly divided into laparotomy group and laparoscopic surgery group, with 41 cases in each group. The patients in the laparotomy group were treated with laparotomy radical resec-tion of colon cancer, while the patients in the laparoscopic surgery group were treated with laparoscopic radical resection of colon cancer. The efficacy,operation-related indexes, the level changes of carcinoem-bryonic antigen(CEA)and carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)before and after surgery, the levels of epi-nephrine and norepinephrine, and the occurrence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results The efficacy of the laparoscopic surgery group was higher than that of the lapa-rotomy group(P<0.05).Operation time, first postoperative exhaust time, diet recovery time and intrao-perative blood loss in the laparoscopic surgery group were shorter or less than those in the laparotomy group(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in the levels of CEA and CA 125,epinephrine and norepinephrine between the two groups before surgery(P>0.05).The levels of CEA and CA125 in both groups after surgery were lower than those before surgery, which were lower in the laparoscopic surgery group than in the laparotomy group(P<0.05).The levels of epinephrine and norepinephrine in both groups after surgery were higher than those before surgery, which were lower in the laparoscopic surgery group than in the laparotomy group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the lapa-roscopic surgery group was lower than that in the laparotomy group(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparo-scopic radical resection of colon cancer is effective, with less postoperative complications, minor incision and faster recovery.
