Clinical Efficacy of Fumigation and Washing of Compound Huangbai Liquid Combined with Three-Space Drainage in Treating 34 Cases of Perianal Abscess
Objective To observe the clinical effect of fumigation and washing of Compound Huangbai Liquid combined with three-space drainage in treating perianal abscess.Methods Total 68 patients with perianal abscess admitted to our hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were randomly divided into operation group and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)group,with 34 cases in each group.Patients in the operation group were treated with three-space drainage,while patients in the TCM group were treated with three-space drainage combined with fumigation and washing of Compound Huangbai Liquid.The effi-cacy,pain scores and wound healing time of the patients on the 2nd,5th and 8th days after operation,the scores of the patients'quality of life(QOL)before and after treatment,and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the TCM group was higher than that of the operation group(P＜0.05).On the 2nd,5th and 8th days after opera-tion,the pain scores of the TCM group were lower than those of the operation group(P＜0.05),and the wound healing time was shorter than that of the operation group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in QOL scores between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05),and the QOL scores of both groups were improved after treatment,which were higher in the TCM group than in the operation group(P＜0.05).In the TCM group,there was no postoperative bleeding or infection,while in the op-eration group,edema occurred in two cases,hemorrhage and infection in one case,and the complication rate was 11.76％(4/34).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Treatment of perianal abscess with fumigation and washing of Compound Huangbai Liquid combined with three-space drainage is effective.The postoperative recovery of patients is fast,with less complications and pain,and QOL is obviously improved.
