Objective To observe and analyze the effect of intervention mode based on homogenous med-ical concept on postoperative complications, adaptation level, stigma and self-efficacy in patients with os-tomy for colorectal cancer. Methods Total 62 patients with colostomy were randomly divided into con-trol group and observation group, with 31 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received rou-tine nursing, while patients in the observation group received intervention mode with homogenous medical concept.Postoperative complications, psychosocial adaptability, stigma and self-efficacy changes were com-pared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The level of social psycho-logical adaptation in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of social impact scale(SIS)between the two groups before inter-vention(P>0.05).After intervention, the scores of all dimensions of SIS in both groups were lower than those before intervention, which were lower in the observation than in the control group(P<0.05).Be-fore intervention, there was no significant difference in self-efficacy scores and total scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the scores of all dimensions and total scores of patients in both groups were higher than those before intervention, which were higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The innovative nursing mode based on homogenous medical con-cept can not only reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and decrease the sense of stigma, but also improve the social psychological adaptability and self-efficacy of patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
