Application of Family Extended Care Based on EST Guidance in Radical Operation of Children with Hirschs-prung's Disease
Objective To investigate the application effect of family extended care guided by ecosystem theory(EST)in radical operation of children with Hirschsprung's disease.Methods Total 80 children with Hirschsprung's disease treated in our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were randomly divided into intervention group and routine group,with 40 cases in each group.The routine group was given routine nursing,while the intervention group was given EST-guided family extended care.The knowledge of fami-ly nursing,family nursing ability,family nursing skill proficiency,children's quality of life(QOL)score and family nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups before intervention and 3 months after intervention.Results Before intervention,there was no significant difference between the two groups in the scores of family nursing knowledge awareness,family nursing ability,family nursing skill proficiency,children's QOL.and family nursing satisfaction(P＞0.05).Three months after intervention,the scores of family nursing knowledge,family nursing ability,family nursing skill proficiency,children's QOL,and fami-ly nursing satisfaction in both groups were all increased(P＜0.05),which were higher in the interven-tion group than in the routine group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Family extended care based on EST guid-ance can improve the family nursing knowledge and nursing ability of children with Hirschsprung's disease,and significantly enhance the QOL and nursing satisfaction of the children.
