Analysis of Influencing Factors of Early Recurrence of Ulcerative Colitis in Remission
Objective To investigate the factors influencing the early recurrence of ulcerative colitis(UC)in remission. Methods Total 200 patients who were in remission of UC within 1 week after treat-ment from January 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects.Fecal samples were collected for calprotectin(FC)detection, and colonoscopy was performed. The patients were prospectively followed up for at least 3 months to monitor for early recurrence. The factors influencing the early recurrence of UC in remission were analyzed. Results Among 200 patients,50 cases(25.0%)had early recurrence. There were significant differences in gender, clinical classification, white blood cell count,C-reactive protein and FC level between the recurrence group and the non-recurrence group(P<0.05).Logistic multiple re-gression analysis showed that gender, clinical classification and FC level were the independent factors for early recurrence of UC patients in remission(P<0.05).Conclusion The early recurrence rate of UC in remission is high.In addition to gender and clinical classification, the increase of FC is an independent risk factor for the early recurrence of UC in remission.Monitoring FC level has certain guiding significance for screening the early recurrence tendency of UC in remission.
