Clinical Efficacy of Compound Huangbo Liquid Liniment Combined with Hydrocortisone Butyrate Cream in Treatment of Damp-Heat Obstructing Type of Pruritus Ani
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of compound Huangbo liquid liniment combined with hydrocortisone butyrate cream in the treatment of damp-heat obstructing type of pruritus ani(PA).Methods Total 60 patients with damp-heat obstructing type of PA were randomly divided into control group and observation group,30 cases in each group.The control group was given hydrocortisone butyrate cream for external use,and the observation group was given compound Huangbo liquid liniment on the ba-sis of hydrocortisone butyrate cream for external use.Both groups were treated for 14 days.The total score,clinical efficacy and recurrence of PA before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the total score of symptom in both groups was significantly de-creased,and the total score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05),and the recurrence rate one month after treatment was significantly lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Compared with the treatment of damp-heat obstructing type of PA with hy-drocortisone butyrate cream alone,the combined treatment with compound Huangbo liquid liniment can improve the symptoms faster,the efficacy is better and the recurrence rate is lower.
