Clinical Efficacy of Chinese Herbal Fumigation and Washing Combined with Ethacridine Lactate Dressing Change in Prevention and Treatment of Postoperative Incision Infection in Low Anal Fistula
Objective To study the efficacy of Chinese herbal fumigation and washing combined with ethacridine lactate dressing change in the prevention and treatment of postoperative incision infection in low anal fistula.Methods From October 2022 to December 2023,total 100 patients with low anal fistula surgery in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 50 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with Chinese herbal fumigation and washing combined with ethacridine lactate dressing change after operation,and no antibiotics were used in perioper-ative period,while the control group was given routine dressing change after operation and second-genera-tion cephalosporin for 3 days during perioperative period.The indexes of postoperative inflammation and infection were observed and compared between the two groups.Results There was no significant differ-ence in postoperative temperature,white blood cell count,C-reactive protein and incision score between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Local treatment of Chinese herbal fumigation and washing combined with ethacridine lactate dressing change can effectively prevent postoperative incision infection of low anal fistula and reduce the use of antibiotics.
