Clinical Efficacy of Electroacupuncture Stimulation Combined with Biofeedback in Treatment of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Constipation
Objective To observe and analyze the efficacy of electroacupuncture stimulation combined with biofeedback in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction constipation(PFDC)and its effect on the pressure and sensation of anorectal canal. Methods Total 52 patients with PFDC treated in our hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 26 cases in each group. The observation group was given electroacupuncture stimulation combined with bio-feedback treatment, while the control group only received biofeedback treatment. The efficacy, defecation status, anorectal motility and sensory changes of the two groups were observed and compared. Results After intervention, the total effective rate was 96.2%in the observation group, which was higher than 76.9%in the control group(P<0.05).The number of weekly defecation was(2.95±0.68)times in the observation group, which was higher than(2.26±0.54)times in the control group(P<0.05).The char-acteristics of stool and difficulty in defecation of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).The anorectal pressure and sensory indexes in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture stimulation com-bined with biofeedback is an ideal therapeutic regimen for PFDC patients, with significant clinical effect, and can improve patients'defecation and anorectal pressure indicators, which is worthy of clinical promo-tion and application.
