Clinical Observation of Sishen Pill Combined with Mesalazine in Treatment of 48 Cases of Ulcerative Colitis
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Sishen Pill combined with mesalazine in the treatment of ulcerative colitis.Methods Total 96 patients with ulcerative colitis treated in our hospital from January 2022 to July 2023 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 48 cases in each group.The control group was given mesalazine enteric-coated tablets,and the observation group was treated with Sishen Pill on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,intestinal flora and clinical symptoms of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the number of Escherichia coli and enterococcus in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The number of lactobacillus and bifidobacterium was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05),and the clinical symptom score was significantly lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Sishen Pill combined with mesalazine has good clini-cal effect in the treatment of ulcerative colitis,which can obviously improve the intestinal flora of patients and alleviate the clinical symptoms.
