Nursing Effect of Cluster Nutrition Intervention Based on Pender Health Promotion Model for Colon Cancer
Objective To explore the nursing effect of cluster nutrition intervention based on Pender health promotion model in patients with colon cancer. Methods From July 2021 to December 2023,to-tal 80 patients with radical resection of colon cancer in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group received cluster nutrition intervention based on Pender health promotion model. The nursing observation time of both groups was 14 days.Postoperative recovery index,self-management abili-ty and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The length of hospital stay, the first anal exhaust time, the first time to get out of bed and the catheter indwelling time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The self-management score, serum albu-min and prealbumin contents were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the quality of life score was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Cluster nutrition interven-tion based on Pender health promotion model can improve postoperative self-management ability, shorten rehabilitation time, improve nutritional status and improve quality of life for patients with colon cancer.
