Clinical Effect of Quantitative Evaluation Strategy Combined with Aromatherapy in Treatment of Postopera-tive Colorectal Cancer
Objective To explore the clinical effect of quantitative evaluation strategy combined with aro-matherapy for postoperative care of colorectal cancer. Methods Total 90 patients with colorectal cancer treated in our hospital from September 2020 to September 2023 were selected and divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. All patients were treated with surgical resection. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group was supplemented with quantitative evaluation strategy combined with aromatherapy intervention on the basis of the control group. The first time to get out of bed,the first exhaust time, the incidence of complica-tions and sleep quality were compared between the two groups. Results The first time to get out of bed,the first exhaust time, the recovery time of bowel sound, the first defecation time, the length of hospital stay, postoperative pain score, hospitalization cost and the removal time of drainage tube in the observa-tion group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoper-ative complications and the score of sleep quality were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The score of quality of life was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclu-sion Quantitative evaluation strategy combined with aromatherapy can help reduce the perioperative inde-xes,promote the recovery of postoperative gastrointestinal function, shorten the length of hospital stay,al-leviate the postoperative pain, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, and improve patients'sleep and quality of life.
