Value Analysis of Peripheral Blood Inflammatory Indicators Combined with Carcinoembryonic Antigen in Diagnosis of Colorectal Cancer
Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of peripheral blood inflammatory indicators com-bined with carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)in colorectal cancer(CRC).Methods Total 78 patients with CRC admitted to our hospital from April 2023 to February 2024 and 78 patients with colorectal polyps(CRP)admitted during the same period were studied. The levels of platelet to lymphocyte ratio(PLR),neutrophils to lymphocyte ratio(NLR),monocytes to lymphocyte ratio(MLR),lymphocyte to C-reactive protein ratio(LCR)and CEA in peripheral blood of patients with CRC and CRP were detected and com-pared.The factors influencing the incidence of CRC were analyzed by bivariate logistic regression analysis. The value of peripheral blood inflammatory indicators,CEA and combined diagnosis of CRC was analyzed by ROC curve. The correlation between peripheral blood inflammatory indicators and CEA was analyzed. Results The levels of PLR,NLR,MLR and CEA in the CRC group were higher than those in the CRP group, and the LCR level was lower than that in the CRP group(P<0.05).Bivariate logistic regression analysis showed that PLR,NLR,MLR,LCR and CEA were independent influencing factors of CRC(P<0.05).ROC curve showed that the AUC of PLR,NLR,MLR,LCR and CEA in the diagnosis of CRC were 0.746,0.768,0.653,0.750 and 0.774,respectively,with certain accuracy. The AUC,sensitivity, specificity of the 4 combined peripheral blood inflammatory indicators of PLR,NLR,MLR and LCR,and the 5 com-bined indicators of PLR,NLR,MLR,LCR and CEA in the diagnosis of CRC were 0.900 and 0.910,74.4%and 73.1%,91.0%and 98.7%,respectively.Pearson correlation analysis showed that PLR,NLR and MLR in peripheral blood of CRC were positively correlated with CEA level(P<0.05),while LCR was nega-tively correlated with CEA level(P<0.05).Conclusion Peripheral blood inflammatory indicators combined with CEA have certain value in the diagnosis of CRC,and the peripheral blood inflammatory in-dicators are correlated with CEA.
