Effect of Rocuronium Bromide on Muscle Relaxation and Stress Response During Radical Resection of Colorectal Cancer
Objective To investigate the effect of rocuronium bromide on muscle relaxation and stress re-sponse during radical resection of colorectal cancer(CRC).Methods Total 80 patients who underwent laparoscopic radical resection of CRC in our hospital from January to December 2023 were randomly divid-ed into experimental group and control group,40 cases in each group.Rocuronium bromide and cisatracuri-um besilate were used as the muscle relaxant in the experimental group and the control group,respective-ly.Muscle relaxation effect indexes(onset time and maintenance time of muscle relaxant, the number of in-traoperative muscle relaxant supplementation, postoperative extubation time, duration of stay in recovery room),muscle relaxation aging indexes[onset time of train of four(TOF),25%and 75%time of TOF re-covery],hemodynamic indexes(heart rate, mean arterial pressure),stress response indexes(intraoperative epinephrine and norepinephrine levels at different times),and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results 1)Muscle relaxant effect:The onset time, postoperative extubation time and duration of stay in recovery room of muscle relaxant in the experimental group were shorter than those in the control group, the maintenance time of muscle relaxant was longer than that in the control group, and the number of intraoperative muscle relaxant supplementation was less than that in the control group(P<0.05).2)Muscle relaxation aging:The onset time of TOF in the experimental group was sig-nificantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between 25%TOF recovery time and 75%TOF recovery time(P>0.05).3)Hemodynamic indexes:Compared with before medication, heart rate and mean arterial pressure of patients in the two groups were increased after medication(P<0.05).However,the fluctuation range of the experimental group was small, and the heart rate and mean arterial pressure of patients after treatment were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).4)Stress response:Before medication(T0),there was no significant difference in the levels of epinephrine and norepinephrine between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of epi-nephrine and norepinephrine in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group at the beginning of operation(T1),1 h after operation(T2)and at the end of operation(T3)(P<0.05).5)Adverse reactions:There was no statistical significance in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with cisatracurium besilate, rocuronium bromide has better and faster muscle relaxation effect in CRC patients undergoing laparoscopic radical resection, and has less effect on hemodynamic and stress response, without increasing adverse reactions.
