Clinical Efficacy of Electroacupuncture Stimulation Combined with Biofeedback Therapy on Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Related Constipation
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture stimulation combined with biofeedback therapy on pelvic floor dysfunction related constipation. Methods Total 60 cases of pelvic floor dysfunction related constipation admitted to our department from March 2022 to February 2024 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with biofeedback therapy, and the experimental group was given electroacupuncture stimulation at Tianshu point bilaterally on the basis of biofeedback therapy. The defecation and defecation pressure before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the weekly defecation frequency, fecal trait score and defecation effort score of the experimental group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the anal resting pressure, maximal contraction pressure, defecation pressure and first defecation sensation in the two groups were significantly reduced, and those in the experimental group were lower(P<0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture stimulation combined with biofeedback therapy can effectively improve the symptoms of pelvic floor dys-function related constipation.
