Association Between Postoperative Delayed Enteroparalysis and Intraoperative Fluid Management in Patients with Colorectal Tumors
Objective To investigate the relationship between postoperative delayed enteroparalysis and intraoperative fluid management in patients with colorectal tumor. Methods A total of 80 patients who received radical operation for colorectal tumors in our hospital from March 1st,2022 to February 29th,2024 were selected to retrospect their clinical data, indicators related to intraoperative fluid management and the incidence of postoperative delayed enteroparalysis to analyze their correlation. Results The incidence of delayed enteroparalysis was 31.25%(25/80).The hospital stay of patients with postoperative delayed en-teroparalysis was significantly prolonged, and the hospitalization cost was significantly increased(P<0.05).Operative method(laparoscopy/open operation),intraoperative fluid input, intraoperative fluid bal-ance,intraoperative sufentanil dosage and postoperative controlled analgesia were independent factors af-fecting the occurrence of postoperative enteroparalysis(P<0.05).Conclusion Postoperative delayed enteroparalysis in patients with colorectal tumor may prolong hospital stay and increase the financial bur-den of patients. The occurrence is related not only to the operation method, anesthesia method and anes-thetic dosage, but also to the intraoperative fluid input and intraoperative fluid balance. Therefore, fluid in-fusion should be controlled during perioperative period.
