The combustion conditions of boilers in power plants not only directly affect power generation efficiency, but also influence pollutant emissions and energy consumption. This paper provides an overview of boiler combustion monitoring methods in three technical paths:combustion flame image, furnace chamber temperature distribution and boiler flue gas composition. The acquisition and feature extraction of flame combustion images are discussed in detail, the basic principles of the mainstream methods of furnace chamber temperature measurement are briefly described, and the advantages and disadvantages of each flue gas monitoring method are compared and analyzed, providing a technical reference for researchers to carry out related work.
