Gantry crane is a kind of lifting machinery widely used in construction.It has the characteristics of high site utilization,large operation range,wide applicability and strong versatility.It will be removed and transferred to other projects after the completion of the project.According to the structural characteristics of the gantry crane,the installation and removal of such cranes usually require the heavy duty crane.This paper mainly discusses the method of aerial dismantling the gantry crane with light duty crane when there is no heavy duty crane in the local site.
