In this paper,the FMEA(failure mode and effects analysis)method is used to analyze the failure modes and failure causes of the escalator systems and components.The fault tree models of key components such as escalator drive engine,step chain,guide rail system and handrail belt are established.The fault hazard assessment method for important components is proposed,and the maintenance and inspection technology of escalator based on RCM(reliability centered maintenance)is studied.It is conducive to realizing the scientific maintenance of escalators and reducing the frequency of accidents.It is important to improve the security and reliability of equipment and intelligent operation and maintenance management capabilities.
