There are 202 escalators in operation in the core venue of the China International Import Expo(CIIE),which will face the test of large flow,high load heavy and long operation during the exhibition.In order to ensure the stable operation of the escalators during the sixth CIIE,the elevator support team carried out a special inspection of the on-load stop distance of the escalators before the exhibition,and urged the maintenance unit to complete the adjustment and maintenance of the braking device.This paper summarizes the process of special inspection,analyzes the test results,and discusses the correlation between no-load and on-load braking distance,so as to provide reference for the inspectors to determine the braking ability of escalator.
