The elevator safety signs are an important tool for guiding passengers to take elevators in a standardized manner, but their current posting status and effectiveness are poor.To objectively evaluate and guide the improvement of the effectiveness of elevator safety signs, based on cognitive psychology, the cognitive behavior process of elevator safety signs is divided into five stages, and an evaluation system consisting of 5 secondary indicators and 20 tertiary indicators is established.Based on national standards and existing literature, rating standards are set for each indicator, and the effectiveness of elevator safety signs is evaluated using a certain shopping mall in a certain city as an example.Subsequently, relevant suggestions are proposed regarding the current situation of the use of elevator safety signs.
