To enhance the safety oversight mechanisms for elevator installation,this research investigates the present state and approaches to safety supervision during the elevator installation process.Given the relevant laws and regulations,as well as insights from the principal investigative and supervisory bodies for elevator installation accidents,it identifies the issue of overlapping supervisory responsibilities in this process.The research highlights this challenge and offers recommendations for enhancing safety oversight at the governmental and regulatory levels.The findings indicate that refining the delineation of departmental supervisory duties and responsibilities throughout elevator installation,elevating the entry requirements for elevator installation firms,and proposing collaborative law enforcement approaches would serve as valuable guidance for enhancing safety supervision throughout the elevator installation process.
