This article discusses common types of malfunctions and potential causes of unstable escalator operation,and proposes a fault diagnosis method suitable for regular inspections.The main symptoms of unstable escalator operation include uneven step movement,unstable handrail movement,abnormal noise or vibration,and irregular motion during start-up and stop.These malfunctions may be caused by wear or damage to mechanical components,electrical system failure,improper maintenance or adjustment,and overloading or external environmental factors.For regular inspections,it is recommended to use hidden trouble elimination method and spectrum analysis to locate the source of abnormal vibration.Through these methods,it is possible to effectively diagnose and repair escalator malfunctions,ensuring its safe and stable operation.
