This article introduces a multi-point static evaporation rate tester for cryogenic insulated cylinders.The testing principles conform to the criteria for the flow measurement method laid out in GB/T 18443.5—2010 Testing method of performance for vacuum insulation cryogenic equipment—Part 5:Static evaporation rate measurement,with the only distinction being the proposed tester simultaneously adjoins multiple cylinders and volumetric flow measurement channels,converting volumetric flow to mass flow through a mass flowmeter and a valve set for instant calibration and synchronous testing of static evaporation rate across multiple cylinders.Testing with actual samples and comparisons made with different devices validated the reliability,operational simplicity and accuracy of the proposed tester.
