In recent years,major and extremely serious accidents of special equipment have occurred frequently,bringing unprecedented pressure to the safety supervision work of special equipment.Therefore,the dual prevention mechanism for special equipment has emerged as the times require,providing an effective guarantee for curbing the occurrence of major and extremely serious accidents of special equipment and ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.Based on the current status of special equipment safety supervision,this paper deeply analyzes the significance,connotation,and requirements of constructing the dual prevention mechanism for special equipment.It also provides suggestions for improvement and promotion of this mechanism.
