The long-time using of old devices has always been the focus of production safety supervision departments,special equipment supervision departments and users.In this paper,on the basis of corrosion investigation of three atmospheric and vacuum distillation units,the safety risk of the unit is obtained by using the method in the Safety Risk Assessment Guide for Old Units of Hazardous Chemical Production and Use Enterprises(trial)and the risk-based inspection method respectively.By analyzing the influence of factors such as using time,medium,material on security risks,the characteristics and safety risk levels of the two methods are compared,and it is found that the safety risk levels obtained by the two methods are corresponding to each other and the two methods can be used in combination.
