This paper introduces the basic structure and principle of the built-in safety valve for road tankers,lists the common failure forms of the built-in safety valve,and analyzes emphatically reasons of safety valve leakage produced by the spring failure.In order to prevent failures of the spring parts of safety valve,it is suggested to take preventive measures from different aspects such as material selection,production,installation and use.At the same time,a safety warning is put forward for failure risk of the built-in safety valve of the road tankers.
